Contact Making Tax Digital Calculator: Email Us About a Wrong Figure, Never Your UTR or NI Number

Published

Write to us about a figure that looks wrong, a calculator that doesn’t work or anything else on the site. Never send your National Insurance number, UTR or tax documents.

contact@makingtaxdigitalcalculator.co.uk

If a figure looks wrong

Tell us the page and the figure, and the GOV.UK page or the law that says otherwise if you have it. The corrections page says how we fix it.

What never to send

Please never send your National Insurance number, Unique Taxpayer Reference, Government Gateway details, bank details or tax documents. We don’t need them for anything, and we can’t use them to help you.

Questions about your own tax

We can’t advise on your own tax, and we can’t see what HMRC holds about you. For that, ask HMRC, or a tax adviser or accountant. If you don’t think you need to use Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, GOV.UK says to contact HMRC.
